Pie Town Lending / Buying LibraryThe Lending / Buying Library is located in the Pie Town Community Center. The library will be closed for all of October, 2009; starting in November it will be open every Thursday from 1 p.m. — 3 p.m, except on holidays. If you have clean, usable books, magazines, DVDs, or VHS tapes that you are willing to donate to the library, please bring them to a regular Council meeting, to the library during the hours it is open, or contact library@pietowncouncil.com to make other arrangements. "Clean" means no writing, excessive water damage, mold, etc. Some damage is OK, such as torn covers, bent pages, yellowed paper, or broken spines — as long as the book can be read. Children's books are also needed, but please, no coloring or writing.
How It WorksCoffee and conversation are free. Take some books home, bring them back. Please leave a donation of your choice in the coffee can for the privilege of enjoying a book. The money is used to purchase shelving and other items for the library. Please sign the red book so we can keep track of usage.
