While there is always something going on in Pie Town, here are some of the larger events that we look forward to each year. And remember, volunteers are always needed for special events!

Pie Festival

Held annually on the Second Saturday of September, the festival includes a pie-baking contest, games and races, music, food, arts and crafts, and pie, pie, pie. Admission is free and parking is easy. Vendors welcome. Check out www.pietownfestival.com for complete information.

The Pie-O-Neer Café — Highway 60, Pie Town, NM
Famous for homemade pies galore, plus soups, sandwiches, and other lite fare. A favorite of CDT riders and locals alike. Stop at the Top and taste "a little slice of heaven!" 575.772.2711

Scholarship Program

Each year, the Council awards a scholarship to a college-bound student from our area. In 2009, the criteria were changed to base the award entireley upon the student's record of community service.

Bike and Build Overnight

In 2008 and 2009, the Council provided meals for groups from Bike & Build. The groups were on cross-country bicycle trips to raise money for affordable housing projects, and spent the night in Pie Town.
